Objectives and Goals

The objective of our Takashimaya Basement shops is to introduce and spread awareness on Japanese confectionery, food-related products and other lifestyle goods to the Singapore market and its neighbouring regions. We aim to introduce Japanese food, confectioneries and traditional goods as part of Singaporean’s lifestyle that can enjoyed in their daily lives.

Currently we are managing 7 brands, namely Kobe Fugetsudo, Fukujuen, Yamamoto Noriten, Sembikiya, Shiseido Parlour, Ryugetsu and Air by Tokyo Nishikawa at Basement 1 and 2 at Takashimaya Shopping Centre. The products that we are importing are known for its long establishment and its traditional recipes of over 100 years loved by many even until today.

We also organise Japan food fair and Japan traditional goods fair at Takashimaya Basement to introduce quality and authentic Japanese local foods and goods to Singapore. We aim to introduce as many Japan foods and goods as possible to Singapore and its neighbouring countries.

1999/09	Established. Started Warakuya “和楽屋”. Importing and selling Japanese traditional goods at Takashimaya Singapore Shopping Centre at Takashimaya B1

2011/04	Importing and selling Japanese confectionary of Kobe Fugetsudo “神戸風月堂” at Takashiyama B2
2011/04	Importing and selling Japanese laver seaweed of Yamamoto Noriten “山本海苔店” at Takashimaya B2
2012/02	Importing and selling Japanese ｒice cracker of Mochi-Kichi “もち吉” at Takashimaya B2
2012/05	Importing and selling Japanese fruits juice and fruits jelly of Sembikiya “千疋屋” at Takashimaya B2
